The Prize is a global initiative aimed at discovering, celebrating, and scaling the most impactful solutions to help repair our planet. We have the honour of nominating standout projects from our community and we are proud to support such impactful initiatives!

RedStone Oracles raises $15M to further expand its oracle products

The Switzerland-based startup with Polish roots RedStone has announced the closure of its $15 million Series A round led by Arrington Capital. RedStone’s modular architecture will determine the next wave of dApps by offering the most gas-optimized and secure oracles in the DeFi space.

TestParty raises $4M to help automate the coding for accessible websites

TestParty, a software compliance company powered by AI, announced a $4 million seed round today co-led by Harlem Capital and the Urban Innovation Fund. The new funding will further accelerate their mission to give engineers the skills that they need to write ADA-compliant code and help businesses avoid violating global digital accessibility regulations.

Lumos secures $35M funding to launch the unified access platform

San-Fransisco based Lumos, a software company centralizing the management of apps and identities for IT and security teams, announced its $35M Series B financing led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Harpoon Ventures, Neo and others.Lumos revenue has grown 9x since its last fundraise, and has won over top enterprise customers like Pinterest, MongoDB, and GitHub.

Codesphere raises €16.5M to reduce infrastructure costs in DevOps

Karlsruhe-based Codesphere, which enables developers to program and scale complex applications directly in the cloud, has secured €16.5 million in funding. Pan-European VC Creandum led the investment round with existing investors including LEA Partners, Begin Capital, 42CAP and 468 also participating. This new capital injection will allow the company to expand its services further, including developing new solutions to manage the cost efficiency of large language models (LLMs) and improve collaboration within development teams.

Parloa receives €61.7M to expand AI-powered customer service platform

Berlin-based Parloa, a leader in AI-powered automation for customer service, announced that it has raised €61.7 million in Series B funding led by Altimeter Capital, with participation from new and existing investors EQT Ventures, Newion, Senovo, Mosaic Ventures and La Famiglia Growth. The funding brings Parloa’s total capital raised to-date to $98 million, following its $21 million Series A funding round led by EQT Ventures in 2023.

This year's lineup reflects the growing influence and economic prowess of young leaders. The entrepreneurs and innovators featured on the 2024 list have collectively raised over $1 billion, spearheading transformative ventures.

peaq raises $15M to expand its DePIN ecosystem

peaq has raised $15M to strengthen its web3 network, which enables communities to mobilise around improving physical infrastructure, as the company prepares for launch. Currently, peaq hosts 20 decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs), decentralized apps that use tokens to incentivize people to crowdsource and build connected real-world infrastructure. The funding anticipates peaq's network launch after years of R&D.
